HOW TO HELP
PRACTICAL HELP
You don't have to be a professional to welcome a family in to your neighbourhood. Please contact us if you feel you can offer help in the following areas:
A skill you feel may be useful in the application process.
Being part of a team to offer practical support when the family arrives - showing them the local shops, taking them to Doctors and Dentists appointments; helping familiarise them with the local area.
Putting together a welcome pack for the family on arrival
Do you speak Arabic? We will need language support for the family until they develop their skills in English
English Language Tuition. We need support for the family to learn English.
To offer these or any other skills please submit your details via the Offer Support button.
FINANCIAL HELP
We need to raise at least £9,000 before we can make our application to the Home Office.
If you would like to make a donation towards this initiative you can do so via the 'Donate' button below.
Alternatively you may want to set up a monthly standing order to help support the rent of the family property.
GIFTS
We will need some items for the family to help furnish their home and welcome them to the country.
Until we know more details about the family that will be coming to Ashtead we don't know the details. If you want to offer a gift to the family then please email us and we will send you the full list of items later in the year.

PRAY
We need lots of people to pray for us as we move forward with this process.
Please pray for the following:
The re-settlement plan being put together by the core group which needs to be submitted to the Home Office
That we get the necessary approval from Mole Valley Council
That suitable housing is found in Ashtead.
Pray for the families living in Refugee Camps around Syria
